  • K's Creations

Ok, so I figured I'd start a thread of the food I'll be making in my oven. I'm having a lot of fun experimenting with different things, and am fully enjoying my oven. If I've posted photos but no recipe just send me a PM and I'll send it in a reply. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as my family and I enjoy making them.

I have to start with a picture of the oven itself:

For those of you who love garlic ( I know that's probably everyone here) and that grows/or knows someone who grows garlic save your shoots. They are great to cook with early on in the year. My family grows over 450 bulbs each year. Way too much to eat. When I'm done letting the garlic hang for a month or so in our hot garage I'll be saving my shoots to use as kindling to start my fires. I tried this once already and it worked awesome. Just another way to put to use everything that Mother Nature provides.

The red pepper looks very tasty and I'm not a big pepper fan! Will have to give that a try when my oven is done. (only a couple of curing fires to go so could probably cook some peppers!)

Here are some extra hot italian sausage and sweet sausage with peppers and onions. Just add a little evoo, salt, and pepper.

These garlic knots go great with he sausage and peppers. They didn't even make it to my table to take a photo before people were grabbing them from the pan.

                              1. EVOO
                              2. Few sprigs of Sage
                              3. Small bunch of Thyme
                              4. 4 -5 Cloves of Garlic minced
Microwave for about 1 minute and let sit for about 20 minutes to infuse. Brush the oil over the knots with some garlic. When they are almost done brush again and add some parmesan cheese over the top and finish off in the oven.
