Issues with New Forum

One idea from the vBulletin forum is it could be a browser setting/add on; can you try a different browser?

Mitch, I see all communication with the forum appears to be https secure, which I thought was usually reserved for credit card and other sensitive transactions. Is this only on my machine or is this intentional. Maybe part of my problem, or at least a symptom?

Yes, but I tried both ways. Even tried to attach one I attached last week with no luck.

I haven't heard from anyone on this as an issue. A few people posted pictures last night. Let me know if the problem continues - you're using the camera icon, correct?

Mitch, I was trying to upload a .jpg that I had previously successfully uploaded, and I got a message saying it was corrupted. Tried several others that should have worked and got the same message. Anybody else having this problem?

JR, Yes, they just completed the migration. I am spot checking the Forum for any issues. I just logged off and the new post link worked; try refreshing your browser, but let me know if there is a problem.

Is the migration complete? I see a thread "Hello from the golden state" shows up under new posts, but is a dead link when you try to access it.

Pardon my cynicism, but every time I hear of an IT change or "improvement" it invariably creates more hassles. I hope the change to a new server proves smoother than the change from the old forum to the new one.

Thanks for reporting the broken link, I've submitted that to be fixed. I'll also look into why there is a different template when you use the shortcuts. Hope you find a custom setting that works for you!

Hi Mullins, not sure where the /community/forum page is - how did you get to it? You can change the color settings in your profile either through "Custom Settings" or "Edit Settings/Account/Forum Skin" which has different color templates to choose from.

In answer to your question, the link at the top left of the page with the short cut paths links to /community/forum. So I am talking about underneath "Forums | New Posts | New Topics | Who's Online |? " There are shortcuts to jump back a page or two "
