Apart from the issue of water entering under the floor from cracks around the flue pipe and around the outer shell, another common entry point is where the outer igloo shell joins the supporting slab. My solution is to fill this crack should it develop as well as designing a slight slope away from the outer shell so water is encouraged not to run into the underfloor insulation. I recently did some repair work on an oven that had this problem. Unfortunately it's not possible to remedy the flat supporting slab once it's built.
