Re: Starting my WFO in N. Carolina
I finished my bottom arch today and here are a few photos. Next, after laying a few more blocks and doing a little form work, I will pour my hearth slab extension. I'll let that set up a few days then start building my first vent arch, w/a heat break between the arches. I planned it so I can use the same arch template for the vent arches as I used for the bottom arch.3 Photos

Thank you and I agree.Originally posted by GianniFocaccia View PostExcellent job. Great beer.
Seemed appropriate to have a couple in celebration of the pluggin'. The brewer is building a new plant in the area, by the Asheville Airport. It's supposed to be really nice, complete w/a restaurant, tours, etc. I might have to check it out.

Re: Starting my WFO in N. Carolina
Thanks for sharing. I'm sure lots of builders will love to go that route. I looked at it and thought it was interesting. Anything anyone can use to make their build easier for them is a good thing.Originally posted by jeffrorrt View PostJust as a little FYI, here's the link to the software Russell mentioned, I plan on using it for my build which I hope to start on next weekend.

Re: Starting my WFO in N. Carolina
Great. Looking forward to seeing it. Way too much rain around here lately to get much done. I wish we could send it all out west, where they can sure use it.Originally posted by mirassou View PostHi Carl,
Just started back on it yesterday...working on the brick chimney facade.

Hi Carl,Originally posted by NCMan View PostHi Paul. Thanks for the compliments. As you know, it's alot of work. The dome is finished, I just need to get the photos posted yet. I plan to start on my archway for the bottom area next, (if it ever quits raining
) which will be brick. How are you coming along w/yours?

Re: Starting my WFO in N. Carolina
Have to relish those last few bricks in the dome, as it'll be done, though I see that you have the remainder of the entryway to finish.
