      Hey Wayne,
I know that celebration first hand and am glad she is done with treatment.
You are good to go it looks like.

I had fire number two in my oven last night and will be installing my FB blanket this weekend. Ordered my Duratech flu and am planning the decorative side of the project. Exciting.

I have a question though. How are you going to prevent the roque camper using your oven?
Seems like it might be a community thing or is your camp site remotely located on your property somewhere? Just curious.

Re: outdoor kitchen and oven base

Novaslo, The campground where I built my oven is a fairly secure place. It has over 280 campsites, with close to 200 being permanent sites. In other words these sites are rented on a year to year basis. I have been at this place going on 15 years and plan on making this my home in 5 years when I retire. Right now it is actually a second home. I have a park model trailer which is 400 sq ft and a closed in room that doubles the sq ft. As far as people just coming and using the oven, that simply won't happen. The owner lives a quarter mile down the road and watches the place pretty closely. It is like a small village with very nice trailers, and is well kept up.

You are one, lucky guy. that sounds like such a great place. I can already tell that your neighbors are life long friends.

It will be such a nice edition to the neighborhood.

Re: outdoor kitchen and oven base

Here are some pictures of my progress. Things coming along as I had 4 days to work on it this past weekend. Slate roofing with copper trim is a possibility. Granite slabs with dress up the ledges where the brick stopped. LED puck lights will add some directional down lighting on to the granite. And every football fan need a flat screen Tv which mounts to the back oven wall.

Re: outdoor kitchen and oven base

Been quite a while since my last posts. I have a couple photos to show. Oven is almost completed. Slate tile roof with copper drip, facial and soffits. Chimney is also flashed in copper. I would have liked to keep it shining and clean but just too much upkeep and sealing, so we will let it get brown and then patina. Added a pizza design in the gable out of brick and some small lights. I plan on putting granite on the ledges and into the vent opening. Patiently waiting for it's arrival. 93 pizzas have been made so far and counting. I really can not believe how this oven works , just awesome. Will post more next week, Wayne

I like the brick pizza inlay, very creative. Nice job, Wayne.
