Today we finished the dome!!!
I need your advise for the vent construction.
My plan is to build a half arc with opening inside.

But i need some information for the height.
Must be more high than my inner arc or The same?
I saw both method constructions and i don't know witch is the correct method.

Tapered inner arch are the easiest to make a dome to arch transition but are more difficult to understand conceptually. Here is a pic (by Mr. Chipster) of one similar to what I think you want and shows how the IT helps make the angles. This require the use of a full brick which is cut down but it is more than a half brick. I think you are using the string method which can work as well.
