Hi, just found this at my local homedepot, a HEBEL mortar for the instalation of HEBEL products. The salesman said that it would practically solidify into an almost identical HEBEL block. Does this mean I can use the mortar and smother it over a 1 inch layer of ceramic blanket and that way the final stucco layer would be less prone to cracking? Or even cast a 2 inche piece and set it under the firebrick floor. This would be so much cheaper.
