Going to build a Pompei Domed Brick Oven. The inside of the oven is to be 40" in Diameter. & approx.. 19" High, at dome top. How much room / space do I need to start with & have extra counter space on the sides ? Hmm!

Welcome to the forum! Feel free to check out the free Forno Bravo plans. Also, If you look at my build plans, there are some dimensions for a space just big enough for the oven itself. I have 36” on both sides of my oven and wish I had 60”! Seems that counter space is like garage space. You think that you have plenty until you start using it. I now have a 6’ table set up to the side and use it as a prep and build area. Oh well, next time I’ll make the counter larger.
