Thanks gang, I cannot take credit for the concept, I saw it done by another builder, Larry out of Chicago so I plagiarized his copper shingle design.
Collin, yes I did seal the stucco. I may even accelerate the patina with a little ammonia and baking soda, fairly benign stuff.
Amac, the copper taps are screwed into the stucco with SS screws, I predrill the holes but a rawl plug is not necessary since the screws really grip well unless I over size the hole. I am going to do some type of copper sleeve over my SS chimney since I like how yours look. I have some design ideas but I will surprise you guys.
