Today we finished the dome!!!
I need your advise for the vent construction.
My plan is to build a half arc with opening inside.
Like this oven:

But i need some information for the height.
Must be more high than my inner arc or The same?

I saw both method constructions and i don't know witch is the correct method.

You should make your vent arch the exact same shape but larger than your inner arch. This is done to leave a reveal for your insulated door to fit snug against.

Also the height from the arc to chimney base is it important?
Do i need to build it on a standart height over the arc?
My chimney opening will be 6" round shape.
