    Hi everyone, I have completed my 36” low dome oven and have a full 5gal pail of refractory clay from all the brick cutting, I am thinking of adding some thermal mass over the oven and wanted to ask what is the appropriate home brew to accommodate this?

    Thanks for your input.

    I’m no expert, but I would think that the standard home brew recipe should be fine... I plan to do the same thing with my scraps. I mean, why not?

      3 sand, 1 fire clay (cuttings in your case), 1 lime, 1 portland
