We did in fact get counters! The installer told me when he came to make templates last week that it would probably be Thursday this week (today), but I was expecting I'd get some kind of confirmation from the manager/owner, and never did. But then the guys showed up with countertops this morning. Go figure!
I went ahead and stuck on the last couple veneer stones once the countertops were in place, and now except for a bit more grouting (and at some point soffits in the roof, the aesthetic components are done. Only took about a year from when I got the roof on
