Had the morning to work on my outer Arch. It was 38 degrees with a 25 mph north wind , just so ya know
Id love some honest opinions about how you think this stone will look with the Brick. Keep in mind that my home 12' away is stone very similar to what I used here. I may clip the top right corner off so I can merge the brick better without a gap.
Tom, I went ahead and stuck the stones to both the firebrick arch and the Hardi Backer. The thinset Im using is FlexBond and is supposed to Flex a tiny bit. I figure if it cracks due to movement, I can make a repair easily
