Awessome build. After reading this build i have gained an interest in checking out some local commercial ovens even though they wouldn't of been DIY.

all I can say is WOWWWWW, CONGRATS , thats a great undertaking for a self build ,that is going to take a big bundle of wood to fire , but once there it will stay hot for a loonngg time, man that is awsome, interested to see what type of chimney you have in mind for that beauty, brick built squirrell tail comes to mind? great job, almost time to curing and pizza / bread and a millage of goodies.

It looks great on the inside. The older brick give it a lot of character. That oven will be a great calling card for your new business.

564 full brick, 350 of which were newer brick, the rest were larger, old stock 10 inch bricks, 104 half bricks. The dome is now parged to a full 10 inch thick thermal mass.

Congratulations on getting the key stone in place. It's a moment to crack open a bottle!

Who is the lucky person who gets to crawl inside the oven to clean up the mortar once you have removed the form?
